A
ri Santiago grew up
in West Hartford but
went away to Boston
for college. When
he came back to
Connecticut, the newly minted
young professional moved into an
apartment in downtown Hartford.
But when it was time to raise
a family, Santiago found himself
back in West Hartford — and
discovered a new appreciation for
his hometown.
"We've got so many great
amenities, especially for young
families," said Santiago, who has a
daughter, 6, and a son, 4, with his
wife, Erika. They now live less than
a mile from where he grew up.
