"That's a great learning environment for our students. The area provides incredible options for our college community. The interests of Trinity College align with the interests of the city, so it's essential to have active and engaged relationships with city leaders." The UConn School of Business also works diligently to develop relation- ships not only with local community and government organizations but also with leaders of the many corporations that call Greater Hartford home. "The School of Business places great value on being an integral part of Hartford's business community and has expanded our graduate business programs downtown," said John Ellio, the school's dean. "We have worked with the corporate community to create real-world learning opportunities for students and match student talent with businesses hiring needs." The Center for the Advancement of Business Analytics (CABA) and the MS in Business Analytics & Project Management program, Ellio added, have worked with companies like Stanley Black & Decker and Henkel to provide projects where students can apply what they've learned in school. Ellio said the School of Business also is offering the second Northeast MBA Invitation, which gathers together employers and MBAs from UConn and more than a dozen regional business schools for an event in Hartford. "This event features business leaders offering master classes on a topic related to business technology innovation, giving local employers great exposure, and offers students timely insights into business innovations across industries," Ellio said. "The Invitational will include organizations like Slalom Consulting, Henkel, Cigna and more." 42 8 5 THE UNIVERSITY OF SAINT JOSEPH is one of many educational institutions that call Hartford home.
