H A R T F O R D Dear Friends, Welcome to Hartford! Whether you are new to our city, or you've lived here your whole life, Connecticut's Capital City is a great place to live, work and play – and we're working hard to build an even more vibrant and entertaining city for all of our residents and visitors every day. Hartford is the economic and cultural heart of a region of more than a million people, and no maer what your interests are, you will find something that inspires, moves and entertains you. We have world-class arts and cultural institutions like the Wadsworth Atheneum, as well as the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Hartford Stage and TheaterWorks. We have venues for groups of every size at our Convention Center, at Xfinity Theatre, the XL Center and Infinity Hall – and they draw some of the best musical talent from across the country every year. You can visit the homes of American icons like Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe, or explore the Hartford African American Heritage Trail. You can taste delicious food from all over the world in our diverse neighborhoods. And you can walk through some of the most beautiful parks in the country. We're home to the best minor league baseball stadium in the country and the historic Dillon Stadium, where you can watch the Hartford Yard Goats and Hartford Athletic compete – in addition to the Huskies and the Wolf Pack at the XL Center. Whatever you or your business may be looking for, Hartford has a great deal to offer. Come and make Hartford yours. Sincerely, Luke A. Bronin Mayor LIVE WORK PLAY 1 HBJ HARTFORD LIVE WORK PLAY
