PDS served as Construction
Manager at Risk, or CMR,
for the 133,000-square-foot
school for students grades
K-12. e 110-square-foot
building was renovated, with
a 23,000-square-foot addition
constructed — with new
classrooms, exam rooms,
multi-purpose rooms, oces,
conference rooms, restrooms,
a kitchen, cafeteria and
gymnatorium — in 2013.
TD Bank Wallingford, CT
is 4,000-square-foot LEED Platinum project at TD
Bank's 926 North Colony Road location was completed in
2012. PDS Engineering & Construction was the general
contractor. e project entailed building interior oces and
constructing a three-lane, drive-through ATM area.
PDS took care of the structure's mechanical, electrical
and plumbing systems; along with millwork, ooring,
metal fabrication, rough carpentry, doors and hardware,
aluminum-framed entrances and gypsum board.
e LEED U.S. Green Building Council's third-party
certication ensures that a project is built to save money,
power and water. It keeps environmental concerns at the
forefront by promoting more earth-friendly materials
choices and improving indoor air quality. LEED Platinum
is the highest level of a LEED certication.
