MarshMMA.com Lincoln Liquors CEO resells Fitchburg plaza Richard Aronovitz, the CEO of Lincoln Liquors, has sold his retail plaza along Fitchburg's Water Street for a second time, for $1.3 million, aer reacquiring it in 2013. e building once housed Aronovitz's Lincoln Discount Drug Store and Li- quors business, and he sold the property in 2005 to a trust, which opened Super Liquors. Aer that business defaulted on its mortgage payments in 2011, Arono- vitz sought to reacquire the property. e new buyer is Angel Rivera Galvez, who paid $1.3 million. Framingham approves marijuana grower e Framingham Planning Board has approved Commonwealth Farm's pro- posed 112,000-square-foot facility for growing cannabis on Edmands Road. Commonwealth has said it plans for provisional state Cannabis Control Commission approval by next January and to start construction in February. Niche to reopen Still & Stir at Railers Tavern site Fresh off closing two concepts in November, Niche Hospitality Group is remaking its Railers Tavern in down- town Worcester into a new cocktail bar and restaurant, reviving the Still & Stir brand at the location. Niche, which is based in Worcester, will remove the hockey-and-sports theme from the Railers Tavern. All sports memorabilia will be transported to the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Cen- ter to support the incoming Bay State Brewing Co., which is taking the place of Niche concept Nonna's Pizza & Pasta. Still & Stir, e Citizen and the Peo- ple's Kitchen all closed at One Exchange Place Worcester in November, but Niche Hospitality Group President Michael Covino was vocal about looking for a new home for those concepts. e changeover is expected to take place throughout next month.
