Weymouth has led HealthAlliance's Fitchburg and Leominster campuses since 2014, adding oversight of Clinton Hospital in 2017 when the UMass Memorial system merged the two facilities. Steve Roach, the president and CEO of UMass Memorial - Marl- borough Hospital, has been named the interim leader for HealthAlliance. Roach will continue with his duties leading Marlborough Hospital while filling in on an interim basis at HealthAlliance starting Sept. 30, working with Weymouth through the transition process. He has been Marl- borough Hospital's president and CEO since 2013. Worcester's sixth brewery to open in ice center Bay State Brewing Co., currently brewing out of production breweries in Williamsburg and Leicester, will open a 10-barrel brewhouse at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center later this year. e brewery, established in 2012, will open in the space currently occupied by Nonna's Pizza & Pasta, a Niche Hospitali- ty Group concept on the first and second floors of the building. Construction is expected to begin in October with a two-tier opening slated soon aer. Virginia developer sells Marlborough community AvalonBay Communities, a Virginia developer, has sold the 156-unit Avalon Orchards apartment complex in Marlbor- ough to a Newton property investment firm for $44.3 million. e affordable apartment complex with a mix of one and two-bedroom units was built in 2002 and features 13 residential buildings and a clubhouse on nearly 23 acres of land.
