Cecarelli joined Harvest Development Group in 2014, and most recently served as client engagement manager. Rachel Leventhal-Weiner has been named assistant director at the Connecticut Data Collaborative (CTData), a public-private partnership that advocates for the public availability of open and accessible data. At CT Data, Leventhal-Weiner has been developing and overseeing the CT Data Academy, a comprehensive public education initiative to build data literacy and data capacity in state agencies, nonpro ts and community organizations across Connecticut. Chuck Harlow has been appointed to the board of directors for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Connecticut (ACEC/CT). Harlow, a 30-year veteran of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, currently works at Fuss and O'Neill, a Manchester civil and environmental engineering consulting rm he joined about a year ago. MahoneySabol, a regional certi ed public accounting rm with locations in Glastonbury, Middletown and Essex, promoted four employees. Casey O'Brien of West Hartford has been promoted to senior manager in the audit department; Anne Harney of West Hartford and Kevin Harris of Berlin have been promoted to tax department managers; Lauren Messina of Wallingford has been promoted to manager in the governmental sector of the audit department. Matthew Cambi has been appointed chairman of the board at Junior Achievement of Southwest New England, a Hartford-based organization that promotes nancial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship in youths from kindergarten to grade 12. Cambi is a principal of international tax, tax accounting and global structuring at PwC in Hartford. He replaces outgoing chair Raymond Sprague. Karen Blanchard has joined The Network Against Domestic Abuse, a domestic violence support agency in En eld, as chief operations of cer. Blanchard has more than 30 years of nonpro t experience, working with hungry, homeless and domestic violence victims in Holyoke, Mass. Bruce McDermott, a partner at Hartford business law rm Murtha Cullina LLP, has been selected to serve on the Connecticut Energy Ef ciency Board (EEB). In his practice, McDermott represents participants in the competitive electricity markets and end users, developing strategic approaches to energy challenges and opportunities. His term on EEB ends in ve years. Donald Nunes has been appointed director of public works for the town of En eld. Nunes was rst hired by the town as an engineer in 2013. He has more than 25 years of experience in municipal departments of public works. Jeff Bartholomay has been appointed vice president and chief nancial of cer at Foodshare, a regional food bank serving Hartford and Tolland counties. Bartholomay most recently worked as vice president of corporate audit at The Travelers Cos. in Hartford. In his new role, he will be responsible for leadership and management of nancial functions for Foodshare. Douglass Abbot has joined The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), a nonpro t biomedical research institution with a location in Farmington, as chief nancial of cer. Before he was hired at JAX, Abbot held several senior nance leadership roles at payment-processing and information- management services rm WEX Inc. Denise L. Ramos, who is retiring Jan. 1 as CEO of New York-based ITT Inc., and Christopher J.
