The institute, located at 33 Locke Drive in Marlborough, is planning an $80-million investment to convert an office building at 9 Technology Drive into a pharmaceutical research and development facility. Stop & Shop opens in $20M redone Milford plaza Stop & Shop completed the relocation of its Milford store from its longtime home to the newly renovated Milford Crossing plaza one mile away. The 66,000-square-foot store opened Friday in the former KMart building in a plaza completely rehabilitated for $20 million by New York City developer RD Management. Stop & Shop's exited from the Quarry Square Shopping Plaza, which is just over a mile from the newly renovated plaza. The facility is a complete operation: cul- tivation, processing, cooking and sales are all done under one roof. The dispensary has about 100 pre-reg- istered patients. The facility fills a need- ed gap for Worcester-area patients, as the nearest facilities are in Newton and Northampton. More dispensaries could be on the way for Worcester County.
