The company will use the money to pay for sales and marketing efforts to broaden its market share and reach with insurance companies, as well as covering the research and development costs of the soft suit exoskeleton. An alternative to ReWalk's hard exoskele- ton, the soft suit is, which is designed to help stroke victims walk. MetroWest Daily News to relocate, sell building The MetroWest Daily News and other publications in a large, mostly unused 90,000-square-foot building in Framingham will relocate to an office on Speen Street in early December. The new office, at One Speen Street in Framingham is located just off Exit 13 of the MassPike. The move comes months after the paper's parent company, GateHouse Media, announced its intention to seek a buyer for the property. It's in an office park, flanked by much large companies, including tech giant Bose Corp. and biotech firm Sanofi Genzyme. The company plans on continuing to operate the facilities as CubeSmart storage centers. Worcester arena football team to debut in April At a time when Worcester is enjoying the first season of its new minor-league hockey team and is in play for the top Red Sox minor-league affiliate, the city now has football as well. The Massachusetts Pirates, an arena football team, will start play next April at the DCU Center as the newest team in the fledgling National Arena League. The Pirates will play eight home games in what is a faster-paced and more high-scoring affair than its out- door counterpart. The field is 50 yards long, half the size of an outdoor field, and has eight players on a team instead of 11. Season tickets start at $90. The Pirates will join the Worcester Railers hockey team playing in the DCU Center. The Railers began play last month in the ECHL. Milford seeks developers for vacant school A 70,000-square-foot vacant school building assessed for $3.6 million is on the market as Milford looks to return the structure to its commercial tax base and solicit a firm to redevelop the site. Middle School East, built the heart of downtown Milford on Main Street in 1918, has been vacant for two years since a new $60-million elementary school was built. A report from consulting firm The Cecil Group found the space would be best suited for commercial office space, a specialized medical office space, apartments, senior housing or assisted living and a fitness center.
