Downtown Takes Center Stage Theatre District Campaign Priorities: First-class ground fl oor restaurant with outdoor seating Complement city investment in the redesign of Carroll Plaza by providing fi xtures and infrastructure to ensure the highest level of quality and functionality Outdoor performance area for year-round programming to help attract visitors to the plaza Enable The Hanover Theatre to partner with other nonprofi t performing arts organizations to bring new types of programming to the theatre district Professional "Off-Broadway" type theatre company in future Black Box Theatre at 20 Franklin Street Provide seed funding for the "next phase" of development The Hanover Theatre launched The Theatre District Campaign to address our growing organization's future needs and our strategic long-range goal of a culturally vibrant theatre district and city core. The goal of the campaign is to raise $10 million by June 2020. As of August 2017, over $7.5 million has been raised and the fi rst major project, The Hanover Theatre Conservatory & Event Center, is in full operation.
