Create a welcoming and accessible venue for all audiences. 7. Utilize our new performing arts conservatory to expand and broaden our arts engagement opportunities across the lifetime of our patrons. 8. Leverage theatre events and resources to create educational opportunities. Fundraising Events/Opportunities The theatre plans to hold a performance gala in fall 2018 to benefit the Theatre District Campaign. Levels of sponsorship and ways to support the event will be available in March 2018. Volunteer Opportunities Volunteers fill many important positions at the theatre. You may apply to join the team as a volunteer usher, ticket taker, greeter or gardener, or in the administrative offices. The theatre welcomes over 197,000 patrons each year and relies on dedicated volunteers to help deliver the very best in customer service. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but applicants are only contacted for interviews and training each August before the start of a new season. The Hanover Theatre's volunteers are rewarded first and foremost with gratitude for their time and talents, as well as a host of other benefits. Giving Opportunities As a nonprofit cultural organization, The Hanover Theatre gratefully accepts donations throughout the year, including membership support beginning at $75. The theatre's leadership support begins at $1,200 annually for membership to the Franklin Square Society. Corporations support the theatre through corporate memberships and sponsorships that range from $2,500 - $15,000. The theatre conducts an annual fundraising drive during the giving season to benefit the Access to the Arts Fund, which supports educational outreach programs. The theatre is presently raising funds for the Theatre District Campaign to support the construction of the new conservatory and event space and the revitalization of the theatre district.
