Continue to operate with low overhead costs and use our resources to best assist those who need help. 5. Expand our diaper program through charitable donations in providing children with more than the one diaper a day their caretaker, in many instances, can afford. 6. Expand our presence in the community to be a resource for entities that need help in assisting those in need. Volunteer Opportunities Catholic Charities Worcester County welcomes individuals of all ages and faiths to engage in our volunteer opportunities. With area offices in Leominster, Southbridge, Whitinsville and Worcester, volunteers are needed to assist with the following activities: picking up food from the Worcester County Food Bank, working with guests in our food pantries, sorting donations in our clothing closets, organizing diaper drives, collecting household items for our newly resettled refugees, delivering and serving Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, working with individuals with developmental disabilities at Mercy Centre, and assisting individuals in need of financial literacy, to name a few!
