Our mission is to ensure that no matter how intricate or intensive the need, each and every one of our customers receives impec- cable care. Our pharmacists take the time to answer all of our customers' questions and concerns; help them understand their medications; and explain the proper way they are to be taken. We are proud to offer an independent alternative to our customers. Family Pharmacy, Inc. is locally-owned and operated, which means our customers have easy access to the owner and management team. Our expertise as one of the largest independent chains of community pharmacies has allowed us to serve many of the hospitals, assisted living facilities, rehab centers and others for the past 17 years. Family pharmacy operates as a business partner to the facilities it services. We provide indepen - dent advice on all medical and pharmaceutical questions and opportunities for the facilities we service. As a phar- macist himself, Hamid Mohaghegh knows and under- stands the importance of quality patient care. It all started with Hamid's move to the United States from Iran at the age of 18 and his dream of one day own- ing and operating his own business. In order to support himself and pay his way through college, he worked for many of Worcester's manufacturing companies. With persistence and determination, he graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. At the start of his career, Mohaghegh held a variety of roles in hospitals throughout Central and North Central Massachusetts. It was while working as the administra- tor for Heywood Hospital that his dream of owning his own business began to come to fruition. Mohaghegh took over the hospital's struggling campus pharmacy and quickly turned it into a thriving operation. It was there he realized the importance for pharmacies to provide the very best in customer care, dignity and compassion, and he began opening his own pharmacies. In September of 2016, Hamid helped his son, Jason Mohaghegh, open his first pharmacy, Prescott Pharmacy, LTC, a state-of-the-art, long-term care pharmacy, which strengthens and expands the Family Pharmacy, Inc. commitment to catering to the specific needs of individ- uals residing within an intermediate facility, including intermediate care facilities for those with an intellectual disability, hospice, assisted living communities, group homes and other forms of congregate living. Today Family Pharmacy, Inc. owns and operates five convenient pharmacy locations in Worcester, Gardner, Fitchburg, Leominster and Natick. Together with Prescott Pharmacy, LTC we fill more than 35,000 retail and long-term care prescriptions monthly. Our services include free delivery, easy prescription transfers, auto-re- fills, medication synchronization, special packaging options, electronic prescription processing and more. We pride ourselves on Fast, Friendly Service and a dedication to showing our customers that they come first, because we care about the community we serve. In addition to Family Pharmacy, Inc. and Prescott Pharmacy, LTC, Hamid Mohaghegh is also president and owner of Grove Street Family Properties and Prescott Street Family Properties.
