HEALTH • Fall 2016 27 Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer announced the opening of its new Center for Hand and Plastic Surgery. Patients can come to the center for hand procedures such as carpal and cubital tunnel release, hand and wrist fractures and other surgeries. Plastic and reconstructive surgeries, including breast recon- struction, scar revisions and skin cancer surgery are also available. A new obstetrics and gynecology practice, Women's Wellness Associates, is open at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Doctors Patricia D. Chernosky and Brenda E. Hallenbeck welcome their existing and new patients. MedPost, a national chain of urgent-care centers, opened three new clinics in Central Massachusetts -- its first clinics in the northeast. Each clinic, in Wayland, Northborough and Franklin, will employ about 10 people, according to MedPost. The Franklin and Wayland locations are affiliated with MetroWest Medical Center, and the Northborough clinic is a Saint Vincent Hospital affiliate. South Bay Mental Health has rebranded as South Bay Community Services.
