GAC Chemical Corp. in Searsport hired Chris Phair as sales manager. Phair was an account manager for Univar. Combined Bene ts United, an insur- ance marketing organization in Hallowell, hired Raegan LaRochelle as COO. Maine Behavioral Healthcare in Westbrook hired Stephen Merz as CEO. Merz most recently led the behavioral health service line of Yale New Haven Hospital, the fl agship of Connecticut's largest hospital system. Rogers Collection, an importer and distributor of artisan products in Portland, hired Sergio Hernandez as director of business development and sales. Hernandez previously managed Bklyn Larder, a cheese and provisions shop in Brooklyn, N.Y. Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston hired Jeff Smith as a senior vice president and chief resource offi - cer. Smith was pre- viously senior vice president and chief administrative offi cer of Northway Bank in Berlin, N.H. Norton Insurance Agency in Cumberland Foreside hired Meghan Flynn as sales assistant. Previously, Flynn was group/corpo- rate sales representative for Fairfi eld Inn Marriott in Scarborough and insurance sales producer for State Farm Insurance in Portland. Acadia Bene ts Inc. in Portland hired Mike Burton as vice president of business development. The Front Room, a res- taurant in Portland, hired Dustin Shockley as chef de cuisine. Genesis Community Loan Fund, a com- munity development fi nancial institution in Damariscotta, hired Jenny Rottmann as director of fi nance and administration. Rottmann was previously managing director at the Environmental Health Strategy Center. Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick hired Mike Egan as facilities manager. Egan previously owned Egan and Sons. South Portland Land Trust hired Dugan Murphy as program manager. Murphy is also partner with Nuf Sed, a consult- ing fi rm in Portland. Benchmark Residential & Investment Real Estate in Portland hired Doug Cook, Jon Howard, Shannon Miranda, Nicole Poirier, Amber Purty, Ezra Provost, Rich Robinov and Chris Schmidt. Inn by the Sea, a boutique hotel in Cape Elizabeth, hired Michael Briggs as general manager. Briggs was most recently resort man- ager at Chatham Bars Inn Resort and SPA on Cape Cod. Hooper was previously vice president of sales and marketing. First National Bank in Damariscotta promoted Terri Geroux to vice president, systems and support offi cer; Denise Grif n to vice president, human resources offi cer; and Melissa Bryant to assistant vice president, mortgage underwriter. Geroux was previously information systems project manager, Griffi n was a member of the bank's human resources department and Bryant was a member of the bank's mortgage department. e bank also announced the following promotions at First Advisors, its invest- ment management division.
