Franklin Community Health Network in Farmington hired Cynthia Cronkhite as director of human resources. Cronkhite was pre- viously manager of human resources operations, preven- tion and wellness at St. Mary's Health System in Lewiston. Verrill Dana, a law fi rm in Portland, hired Douglas Britton as an attor- ney in the fi rm's real estate group. Britton was previously a partner at Drummond & Drummond LLP. Skelton Taintor & Abbott, a law fi rm in Auburn, hired Benjamin Smith as a shareholder. Smith was previously a staff attorney for the Maine Public Utilities Commission. Diversifi ed Communications, an inter- national media company in Portland, hired Jamie Thompson as an email deployment administrator. ompson was previously with HIMSS Media in Portland. Preti Flaherty, a law fi rm in Portland, hired Bodie Colwell and Patrick Lever as associates. Colwell practices with the fi rm's bankruptcy, creditors' rights and business restructuring group while Lever practices in its real estate group. Sebago Technics, an engineering consult- ing fi rm in South Portland, hired Glissen Havu and Tyler Peabody as civil engineers. Maine Medical Partners, an affi liate of Maine Medical Center, announced that Heather Emery joined MMP – Portland Pediatrics. Emery was previously a physician at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester and a clinical instructor at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Franklin Community Health Network in Farmington named Timothy Churchill as interim CEO. Churchill, the current president and CEO of Western Maine Health in Norway, will serve as CEO of both organizations until a perma- nent replacement is found. Health Affi liates Maine, a substance abuse and mental health agency in Auburn, hired Kim Morrison as a licensed master social worker. Portside Real Estate Group in Falmouth hired Jaye Gorham, Nancy Keast and Ben Ray as agents. [ P R O M O T I O N S ] Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution promoted Brian Ballute and Stephanie Paquet to vice presi- dent and DeAnn Lewis to assistant vice president. Ballute was previously an assistant treasurer, Paquet was deposit support manager and Lewis was a general bank auditor. U.S. Sen. Susan Collins promoted Annie Clark to director of communications and Christopher Knight to press secretary. Clark was press secretary and Knight was a press assistant and an aide for the Senate Special Committee on Aging. GrowSmart Maine in Portland promoted Andrew Zarro from development direc- tor to community engagement director. The Island Institute in Rockland promoted Eric Waters to senior vice president and CFO, Heather Deese to vice president of research and strategy and Michelle Tussing to vice president of development. The MEMIC Group, a workers' compen- sation specialist in Portland, promoted Robyn Jackson to director of claim operations. Jackson was previously unit manager of operation support.
