Dimitri earned his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and completed his residency at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. KRISTIN MATTSON of Princeton was hired as director of homecare for GVNA HealthCare Inc. in Gardner. She most recently worked as director of rehabilitation development for Masonic Health System/Overlook Visiting Nurse Association in Charlton. Prior to this position, she was the director of rehabilitation for Landmark Health Solutions at St. Francis Home in Worcester. Mattson has a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. JUDITH M. PARE was hired as dean of nursing and health sciences, a new program at Becker College in Worcester and Leicester. A Worcester native, Pare previously served in various capacities at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, most recently as associate dean of nursing and chief nursing administrator, as well as the graduate program director and director of external partnerships for nursing and health professions. Before that, she was the assistant dean of MCPHS University in Manchester, N.H. Pare has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Salem State University in Salem and a Ph.D. in education from Capella University in Minneapolis. DR. ANJALI MEHTA was hired by Reliant Medical Group's department of otolaryngology and allergy. She will practice at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. With a medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, she completed a surgical internship and a residency in head and neck surgery, both at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore. Dr. Mehta is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. EMILY WEST was appointed as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Fallon Health in Worcester. Since joining Fallon in 1989, West has held various leadership roles. A resident of Sterling, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Assumption College in Worcester. MICHAEL J. MURPHY, CLINTON HEYD, DAVID B. SHOREY and JUDIE B. HAM were named to the Natick Visiting Nurse Association Board of Trustees. Murphy will serve as chair; he is an attorney in private practice and a resident of Natick. Heyd, vice chair, is a retired sales and risk management professional. He also lives in Natick. Shorey, of Ashland, will serve as treasurer. He is senior vice president of commercial lending for Needham Bank. Ham is clerk. She lives in Natick and is a retired clinical research and research administration professional. Other board members include Lynn Falwell, co-owner of It's Your Move, a move management firm based in Natick; and Daniel Mainzer, partner at Flanigan, Cotillo and Mainzer, a CPA firm in Framingham. Arnold Zaltas of South Natick is an emeritus trustee. Urologist DR. ROBERT CHERRY was hired by Harrington Physician Services of Charlton, part of Harrington HealthCare System. He will see patients in Charlton, Webster and Spencer locations. Cherry, a Charlton resident, earned his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. DR. CHRISTIAN M. CARROLL, an integrative chiropractor, was hired by Groton Wellness in Groton. Carroll is also a holistic physician and has experience with internal medicine, functional physiology and rehabilition, homeopathy and nutrition.
