The company was con- ceived in 1985 by John Creedon, Sr. as a breakfast and lunch diner on the street level of a three-decker in Worcester's Quinsigamond Village. Today, Creedon and Co. is head- quartered in a 30,000 square foot facility located off of Grafton Street in Worcester. The company has grown into two divisions. On one side, they are a catering com- pany servicing clients in and around Central Massachusetts. On the other side, they are a tent rental company servicing clients throughout the United States. On the catering side of their operations, Creedon and Co. has served food and refreshments to millions of cus- tomers. They cater an average of forty events each week to a wide spectrum of clients including: upscale wed- dings and galas; nonprofit fundraisers; corporate events of all sizes and budgets; large-scale public concessions; intimate funeral receptions; casual cookouts and BBQs; bar service; state and federal government contracts; disaster relief services; camp food service – you name it! Their versatility in catering services rings true in the company's motto: "Your Style is Our Style!" On the tent side of Creedon and Co.'s operations, they own and maintain an inventory of tents that could cover over a dozen football fields. The company has installed tents and equipment all over the country including in Nevada, Arizona, Illinois, Pennsylvania, as far south as Key West, FL, as well as Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and all six New England states. Each member of the Creedon team takes immense pride in making events and celebrations individualized and personalized to meet, then exceed customers' expec- tations by offering delectable food, outstanding tents and equipment, coupled with professional and courteous service. Whether planning a casual home gathering for twenty, a wedding for four hundred, a fundraiser for a thousand guests or a corporate event for 2,500, Creedon and Co. is a one-stop event solution. More recently in 2013, as an offshoot of the company but consistent with Creedon and Co.'s core hospitality services, the Creedon family took another leap to own and operate the Worcester Bravehearts baseball team playing out of Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field on the campus of Holy Cross. In their inaugural year, the Bravehearts won the Futures Collegiate Baseball League championship, attracting over 50,000 people to the ball- park which ranked the team 18th in the country among summer collegiate franchises. FUN FACTS: • They wash more dishes in one weekend than a family of 5 does over two years. • They can fit a quarter million cans of soda (or beer) in their walk-in refrigerator. • They can fit 131,000 ice cream sandwiches in their walk-in freezer. • They can wash 13,000 pairs of socks at once in their tent washing machine. • They have one of the first-ever caterer's liquor licenses issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which allows them to provide bar service and alcohol for private events anywhere in the state. Creedon and Co. helped to formulate the legislation in 2012 and testified on Beacon Hill to create caterer's liquor licenses in the state. • In 2012, the company installed solar panels on the roof of their 30,000 square foot headquarters.
