Architectural firm Dario Design Inc. leased 5,398 square feet of space on the second floor at 318 Main St. in Northborough from Capital Group Properties. In a second transaction, Disruptor Beam, a computer game programmer, expanded into 4,014 square feet on the second floor of 161 Worcester Rd. in Framingham. GBCP also handled new leases for 176 East Main St. in Westborough to Sports Fields Holdings LLC; an office lease to Citara Systems at 239 South St. in Hopkinton; and an office lease to HelixBind at 181 Cedar Hill St. in Marlborough. The company brokered two office lease renewals as well: to Workbeast, LLC at 65 Boston Post Rd. West in Marlborough; and RMS at 87 Elm St. in Hopkinton. adcole of MaRlBoRough acquiRed By huB fiRM Adcole Corp., a Marlborough-based maker of measuring devices used in manufacturing processes, announced it has been acquired by Artemis Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, for an undisclosed amount. Along with the acquisition, John Brooks Reece Jr., long-time head of Adcole Metrology, has been promoted to president and CEO, succeeding Addison Cole, the company's founder. Adcole also has offices in Detroit, Tokyo, Shanghai and Germany. iac Buying pRinceton RevieW Media and internet company IAC plans to acquire The Princeton Review, the Natick-based test preparation and college admission services company owned by Charlesbank Capital Partners. The acquisition will be carried out by IAC's Tutor. com business, an online tutoring company. Following the acquisition, Tutor.com and The Princeton Review will be run by Tutor CEO Mandy Ginsberg, according to a statement. Services of the combined company will be offered primarily under The Princeton Review brand, though Tutor.com will be used for certain clients. The machine vision technology developer reported adjusted net income of $28.64 million, or 32 cents per share, compared to $18.69 million, or 21 cents per share, last year. Analysts expected the company to report profits of 22 cents per share. Year-over-year revenue rose from $86.5 million to $108.8 million this year. That, too, exceeded analysts' predictions of $103.3 million. After a decade at the helm, Katherine French will leave her role as director of the art museum and school, making her the longest-serving director in the institution's nearly 40-year history. Danforth Art's board of trustees has established a committee to oversee a national search for a new director. Under French's leadership, operations grew from $1.1 mil- lion in 2005 to $1.8 million in 2014, with the organi- zation receiving its largest donation — an anonymous gift of $500,000 — in September 2012.
