Since joining his family's Cunningham Equities in 2019, Cunningham has helped preserve more than 500,000 square feet of historic buildings while creating more than 300 workforce apartments and commercial spaces. As president, he has helped transform the company into a professionally managed real estate development, construction, and property management organization. One project close to Cunningham was the redevelopment of the former St. Mary's Schools campus in Worcester. Working with the Diocese of Worcester, Learning First Charter Public School, and Visitation House, the project created a permanent home for a charter school serving hundreds of students while enabling Visitation House to purchase the home where it serves women and children. Cunningham serves on the strategic planning committee for Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester, reflecting his interest in expanding access to quality housing. If you're not having fun, you're probably doing it wrong! 4 0 U N D E R F O R T Y Daniel D'Amico, 38 Senior vice president, commercial services manager, Cornerstone Bank, in Worcester Residence: Sutton College: Worcester State University Daniel D'Amico is helping Central Massachusetts businesses access capital while building deep ties to the region's nonprofit community. In 2025, D'Amico generated $20 million in new commercial loans and $15 million in new deposits from business customers. He expects his new-loan volume to double to $40 million in 2026. During the coronavirus pandemic, he was part of Cornerstone Bank's commercial lending team that assisted more than 1,000 business customers with $120 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans. D'Amico's community involvement extends across business, education, arts, and human services. A past president and current member of the Worcester Young Businessmen's Association, he serves on the Rainbow Child Development Center board and Worcester Art Museum Business Partners Committee. He just joined the Worcester State Foundation Board. D'Amico worked full time to finance his college education while earning his bachelor's degree with honors, an experience that tested his ability to balance competing responsibilities.
