Maura Healey to chair the board of Children's Trust, a state nonprofit working to prevent child abuse and neglect. Haranis has served on the board of directors since 2018 and volunteered with the Children's Trust since 2012. She founded her consultancy, Haranis & Co. in 2024. She received her bachelor's degree in political communication from Emerson College in Boston. AMIE SHEI, president and CEO of the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts in Worcester, was appointed to the Children's Trust board. Shei sits on the boards of Health Care for All, the Health Equity Compact, Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, Philanthropy Massachusetts, and the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. Assumption University in Worcester appointed MARISA GREGG as chief marketing and communications officer. Previously, she served as vice president of marketing at Connecticut-based higher education organization Nectar Inc. and prior to that, she was the vice president for communications and marketing at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Gregg received a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Notre Dame in Indiana and a master's degree from Duke University in North Carolina. Sturbridge nonprofit Venture Community Services appointed three individuals to its board of directors, following its merger with nonprofit human services organization Life-Skills, Inc. PAUL HAUGHEY served on the Life-Skills board of directors since 2015 and has more than 30 years of experience in education. He is the superintendent of the Spencer-East Brookfield Regional School District and teachES and overseeS practicum supervision experiences in special education. NANCY NOONAN has served on the Life-Skills board of directors for more than 20 years. She is a palliative care nurse practitioner at Boston-based Commonwealth Care Alliance. Noonan is the president of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society and is board member of the St. Anne's and St. Peter's Free Medical Programs, which are a part of the Worcester Free Care Collaborative. JANICE SMITH served on the Life-Skills board of directors for nearly 20 years. Smith co-founded a support group, The Family Voice, for families navigating autism, before becoming Massachusetts-based nonprofit Autism Alliance, which now includes 2,700 families. She serves on the Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts task force and volunteers for her local food pantry. TABITHA LUMPKINS has been named chief technology officer at Worcester-based online insurance marketplace Pivot, Inc., a division of Worcester-based insurance agency Carroll Enterprises. Lumpkins has more than 25 years experience and served as vice president of system development at Pivot. Lumpkins received a master's degree in computer science from Boston University and bachelor's degree from Framingham State University. MARTIN CONNORS has been elected board chair of the Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Massachusetts. Connors has been a member of the Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance board since 2006. He is president and CEO of Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust, having held the role since 2004. Connors has served as board chair for Fitchburg State University and the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce. Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts elected nine new members to its board of directors to serve two-year terms. • ELIZABETTE BATISTA is the superintendent of public works for Chicopee and a Massachusetts registered professional civil engineer. • JENNIFER CLUETT, former Girl Scout and Brownie troop leader, is the associate vice president for enrollment management and dean of admissions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. • MEAGEN DONOGHUE is the executive director at the Fitchburg Redevelopment Authority and serves as board president for the Massachusetts Economic Development Council. • JESSI KIRLEY founded her wellness company JKirley Collective and is a leadership coach and culture strategist. • CORTNEY LIMA is the associate director of admissions and diversity, equity, and inclusion coordinator at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. • KIMBERLY MCCULLEN is a workforce development specialist at College of the Holy Cross. • CHRISTOPHER SCHWANTNER is chief engineer of television for New England Public Media in Amherst and previously served on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts of Western Massachusetts and on the realignment committee that merged the three Central and Western Massachusetts councils to form the current organization. • STEFANIE SILVA is the director of programs and events for the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and serves on the advisory committee on the Status of Women for Worcester. • FINN ALBISTON is a Girl Scout senior who began Girl Scouts as a Daisy and is a member of the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts advisory board, and a member of their communities' Older Girl Council. They are a bronze and silver award Girl Scout. Hanscom Federal Credit Union in Littleton promoted STACEY BROWNE to chief of staff for the office of the president. Browne joined Hanscom in 2022 and previously served as senior vice president. Prior to Hanscom, she was manager of business development at Illinois-based Draper & Kramer Mortgage Corp. and vice president at Berkshire Bank in Boston. MONICA THOMAS- BONNICK was elected to serve a two-year term as board chair of nonprofit YWCA Central Massachusetts. Thomas-Bonnick is vice president and lending officer at Webster Five in Auburn and serves as the director and treasurer of the Webster Five Foundation. She has served on the YWCA board since 2019, and as chair, she will lead the organization's work in eliminating racism and empowering women. She was on the WBJ Power 50 list in 2020 and a Outstanding Women in Business recipient in 2022. HAIDY GIRGIS was promoted to commercial banking relationship manager at Fidelity Bank in Leominster. In this role, Girgis will work closely with the bank's commercial customers to offer financing and business solutions. Previously, she joined Fidelity in 2022 as a portfolio manager to support the bank's commercial lending team. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Cairo University in Egypt. Oxford-based bankHometown hired PATRICK GENATOSSIO as assistant branch manager at the bank's Webster location. Genatossio has more than 20 years of banking experience and was previously customer relations manager at Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank. Prior to that, he held roles as senior customer service representative at Buffalo-based First Niagara Bank and assistant branch manager at Citizens Bank, headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his bachelor's degree in mass communications from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce named MICHELLE HAGGSTROM as ambassador of the year. Chamber ambassadors volunteer to the chamber by communicating and connecting members at events in the region. Haggstrom is a realtor at Keller Williams Realty North Central in Leominster and is the former president of the North Central Mass Association of Realtors. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Fitchburg State University. RICHARD GREGORY joined UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester as chair of the Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology. Gregory served as professor of biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and principal investigator in the stem cell program in the division of hematology and oncology at Boston Children's Hospital. He was a 2008 Pew Scholar, research scholar of the American Cancer Society, and current recipient of an outstanding investigator award from the U.S. National Cancer Institute. MICHAEL GILCHRIST has been named vice president, controller of Cornerstone Bank in Worcester. In his newly assumed role, Gilchrist will lead Cornerstone Bank's financial and accounting team while working to develop and implement Cornerstone Bank's financial vision, including offering recommendations on existing and potential revenue streams and performing the annual budget. Gilchrist earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Nichols College in Dudley. Fidelity Bank in Leominster has promoted MAYRA ROSERO-REGALADO and hired MICHAEL ARCHAMBEAULT.
