As a business, Greenwood has been fortunate to be able to bring the expertise of our craftsmen and women to local projects like Polar Park. This ballpark is a testament to the drive and character that defines Worcester, and I'm incredibly proud that Greenwood played a crucial role in its construction. I am also deeply committed to philanthropy in the area. I actively support and contribute to the New England Center for Children (NECC), as well as sponsoring Worcester Public School initiatives. However, I am most proud of the George Klein Endowed Scholarship at Syracuse University that my wife, Elizabeth, and I established for Worcester-area students. Current Title: CEO + Owner Current Company: Greenwood Industries DAVID KLEIN Class of 2008 Winning the WBJ 40 under 40 award was a pivotal moment that propelled my lending career to new heights. This recognition served as a powerful catalyst, validating my personal mission to provide my clients with the best possible financial solutions to their business. Winning the award gave me a new sense of inspiration to further expand my career. Building upon this momentum, I started a search for a small business to purchase. Something I do not think I would have done had it not for the morale boost this award gave to me. In 2016, I purchased an automotive paint protection and detailing shop, Ziebart of Shrewsbury as an investment. Since combining my banking career with this retail automotive venture, I have strengthened my partnerships with key industry players to create mutually beneficial collaborations and expand my market reach. By focusing on my strategic personal growth, I've solidified my partnerships and solidified my position as a leader in both industries and continued success, thanks in part to this prestigious award.
