Since receiving this award, I have focused on continuous growth and finding new ways to serve Greenwood Industries. Today, as Chief Operating Officer, I oversee daily operations, manage acquisitions, and refine our processes and strategies to align with the company's vision and culture. This commitment to development ensures we don't remain stagnant but continue to evolve and excel. While my roles and responsibilities have expanded, I've recognized the importance of involvement in business associations and local non-profits. Serving as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer for the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts and as President of CS Insurance Captive has played a critical role in enhancing my leadership abilities. These roles provide valuable networking opportunities and have been pivotal in my ability to lead both within the company and the communities we serve. Since receiving the 40 Under Forty award, David S. McLaren is renowned for community involvement through various donations, actively supporting schools, local non-profits, Worcester homeless shelters, animal shelters and David has a personal partnership with NEADS which provides service dogs to individuals with disabilities. His engagement with Bentley University and other educational institutions highlights his commitment to nurturing future professionals.
