The Maine Tourism Association in Hallowell inducted Don Kleiner into its Hall of Fame. Kleiner, who owns and operates Maine Outdoors, has been serving clients with guided fishing and canoe trips for 38 years. Bixby Chocolate in Rockland said its Organic Belize 70% Dark Chocolate Bar won the "Gold Award in the Chocolate" as part of the Specialty Food Association's 2024 sofi Awards. Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington presented its nursing excellence and care partner awards as part of National Nurses Week. Keelin Trask and Ashley Provencher won the "Nursing Excellence Award" while Lisbeth Pratt and Madison White captured the "Nursing Care Partner Award." Morgan Stanley announced that Gary Bergeron, Jeremiah Burns, Jay Cross, Todd Doolan, Mark Leighton, Brian Mavor, Richard Rosu-Myles and Andrew Thomas in its Portland wealth man- agement office and Jeffrey O'Sullivan in the firm's Bangor wealth manage- ment office, were named to Forbes Magazine's 2024 list of "Best-in- State Wealth Advisors." Haley Ward, an employee-owned professional engineering, architec- ture, environmental, and surveying consulting firm in Bangor, said it was honored with a "Notable Project Award" from the Maine Real Estate & Development Association for its work on the renovation of the Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle. ClimateWork Maine announced the winners of its 2024 Climate Action Awards. e "Climate Catalyst Award" went to ReVision Energy, Wyman's Blueberry Farms received the "Climate Performance Award" and the "Climate Innovation Award" was awarded to Tanbark. Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville and Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft announced the recipients of its 2024 awards for nursing excellence. At CA Dean Hospital, Naomi Trepanier was named "Exceptional Nurse of the Year" and Trevor Guay was the "Exceptional CNA of the Year." At Mayo Hospital, Jessica Thibodeau was the "Exceptional Nurse of the Year" while Macee Grant was the "Exceptional CNA of the Year." The Maine Small Business Development Centers, a statewide program that helps entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, recognized Chase Nelson and Jodi Cordes for receiv- ing their Core Competencies Certification from the New England Professional Development group. Nelson is a certified business advi- sor hosted by the Northern Maine Development Commission while Cordes is a program director and certified business advisor for CEI's Women's Business Center Southwest. Mainely Home Watch in South Portland said it earned accredita- tion from the National Home Watch Association. Bar Harbor Bank & Trust recognized Kevin Harwick, senior vice president asset liability manager, and Sonya Mitchell, senior vice president manag- ing director of Bar Harbor Financial Services, with the "Chairman's Award," the bank's highest honor, during its annual Chairman's Dinner and Celebration.
