Giamportone is an assistant pro- fessor of social work at the University of Southern Maine, Hall Dreher has 42 years of human services administra- tion and education combined experi- ence in health care and social services and Caldwell is a physician, formerly practicing obstetrics and gynecology. In addition, the organization elected Mark Jones as chair, Patricia Weigel as vice chair and Moya Elliot as secretary. Jones is president of Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution, Weigel is retired president and CEO of Norway Savings Bank and Elliot is senior vice presi- dent of Cambridge Trust Co. Girl Scouts of Maine in South Portland reelected Patrick Morin as treasurer of its board of directors and chair of the finance audit committee. Morin is principal of the information systems risk and assurance practice at Baker Newman Noyes, an accounting firm in Portland. In addition, Julia Clukey, Tiffany Dembowski, Colleen Golden and Winter Williams were added as at-large members of the organization's board of directors. Clukey is vice president of people and engagement at MMG Insurance, Dembowski is Maine state counsel and vice president for the FNF Family of Cos., Golden is direc- tor of ecommerce applications at L.L.Bean and Williams is a student at Thornton Academy. The Maine Tourism Association in Hallowell elected Troy Munford to its board. Munford is international tour and travel sales manager for Sunday River. [ A C H I E V E M E N T S ] The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce presented its "March Customer Service Award" to Neighborhood Books in Presque Isle. Patti Bailie, associ- ate professor of early childhood education at the University of Maine at Farmington, received a "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Maine Environmental Education Association. Pierce Atwood, a law firm in Portland, said that the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission selected attorney Peter Guffin to serve as an arbitrator for the EU – U.S. Data Privacy Framework. ose selected to serve as arbitrators are among the leading privacy law schol- ars and practitioners in the U.S. and Europe. Guffin is co-chair of the firm's privacy and data security practice. A study released today by the Lugar Center and Georgetown University ranked U.S. Sen.
