Key Private Bank, the wealth management division of KeyCorp, has hired Taylor C. King as a wealth planner in its Hartford office. King is a certified financial planner with more than a decade of experience serving high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to joining Key, King worked as an advisor at two of the largest inde- pendent boutique wealth manage- ment firms in central Connecticut. King will serve clients throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Anthony Assante, co-founder of Atlantic Wealth Advisors in Glaston- bury, has been named to the board of regents at the University of Hartford. Assante, a graduate of UHart's Barney School of Business in 1991, will also continue to serve as a member of the board's investment subcommittee. The board of regents is charged with fiduciary responsibility for the University of Hartford. CVS Health announced it has named Mark Santos president of its Aetna Medicaid business. Santos will report to Aetna Presi- dent Brian Kane, who is also exec- utive vice president of CVS Health. In this role, Santos will oversee strategy, operations and growth initiatives for Aetna Medicaid, which supports 2.6 million members across 16 state health plans. Health insurer Aetna is based in Hartford and is a subsidiary of Rhode Island-based CVS Health. Chelsea Groton Bank has announced two promo- tions and a new hire. Kyle Main has been promoted to customer solutions manager of the bank's Sprague branch, while Tori Heim is now the customer solutions manager of the bank's Westside branch. Karla Drainville has been hired as the customer solutions manager for the bank's Norwichtown branch. Avon nonprofit Gifts of Love, which provides food, clothing and household items to Connecticut indi- viduals and families in need, recently named three new board members. They are Joan Lazar Kemler, Vaughn Robbins and Nestor Leon. Kemler spent the last 20 years of her career as a nurse practitioner in geriatric and family psychiatry, and subse- quently started the Learning Disabilities Association in the Farmington Valley. Robbins is a retired actuary with a strong background in leading the development of new products and marketing strategies in both the U.S. and international markets. Leon is project director with Connecticut State Colleges and Universities in Hartford, where he manages the Health Horizons program. Milford law firm Hurwitz Sagarin Slossberg & Knuff LLC has hired Daniel Sorger as an associate in its litigation practice. Sorger advises clients in complex, multilayer commercial and civil litigation and is experienced in drafting trial and appellate briefs. Law firm Pullman & Comley has hired two new attorneys. Danielle Erickson is an associate in the firm's trusts and estates practice, and Griffin Kutzner is an associate in the firm's litigation practice. Erickson assists with estate planning and administration matters, including fiduciary representation. Kutzner works on general commercial litigation and drafts dispositive motions, briefs and arguments for litigation in state court. Glastonbury-based medical profes- sional liability insurer Integris Group recently made a new hire and elected a new board member. Christina Canales-Perry has joined the company as director of claims. Previously, Canales-Perry was a partner at Morrison Mahoney LLP, specializing in the defense of medical professional liability claims. Prior to that, she served as a judicial clerk to Connecticut Superior Court judges. Dr. Gabriel Gambardella on Nov. 1 joined the insurer's board.
