Cassidy is responsible for providing technology vision and leadership to support banking opera- tions. In his role, he oversees network infrastructure, application support, information security, data analytics and project management, while also supporting other areas focused on products and services and customer experience. What have been your biggest professional accomplishments over the past year? Being recognized and selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to attend their Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Academy. It was an amazing opportunity to network with information security professionals, intelligence analysts and special agents. roughout the CISO Academy, we had candid dialogue on cyber and fraud threats, while reinforcing the impor- tance of the partnership that public and private sectors play in protecting the critical sectors of the United States of America. When not receiving threat briefings, we were able to spend time touring the FBI Academy to get a glimpse into the intensive training that trainees must go through. In what ways are you involved in the community? I serve on the Board for the Shepard Meadows Equestrian Center, which provides equine-assisted services to children, youth, adults and veterans. I also serve as secretary for the town of Burling- ton's Economic Devel- opment Commission. I also donate blood every two to three months with the American Red Cross, with 22 pints donated since 2019. On the job Guiding business principle: Never settle with 'good enough,' be hyperfo- cused on continuous improvement. Best way to keep your competitive edge: Not being afraid to innovate and take calculated risks; keep failures small and learn fast from them. S tanislaw "Stan" Jankowski serves as vice president, chief information officer and health information secu- rity officer for Hospital for Special Care, a long-term acute care hospital that serves Connecticut's most vulnerable patients. Jankowski keeps the hospital on the cutting- edge of biomedical systems, cybersecurity and health information tech- nology, despite the limited resources of a small, independent not-for-profit organization. What have been your biggest professional accomplishments over the past year? My team and I ensure that 75 pediatric and adult patient ventilators interface with critical alarm systems and the electronic medical record, 24/7/365 — through every upgrade, patch and system integration. Lives depend on it. is year, my team and I have taken on significant systems changes to maxi- mize patient safety, enhance employee experience and manage costs. We are breaking new ground in multiple areas. Every member of my team has demon- strated leadership and growth. In what ways are you involved in the community? I serve on the board of Monsignor Bojnowski Manor. I am a past pres- ident of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Church, and a trustee of Sacred Heart Parish.
