I chair the CT Commission for Educational Technology, helping to address digital equity across the state. I am also on the Health Information Exchange (CONNIE) board of directors that is making the appropriate sharing of health data possible in the state. Does setting up school classrooms count? Helping others is a mission statement that writes itself. Goal yet to be achieved: Fully leveraging state spending power to rightsize our technology. We still perform too many similar things in too many dissimilar ways. Personal touch in your office: Wedding photo, picture of my two daughters, 'Lil Mark' (Jim Calhoun bobblehead doll mocked up to look like me. Sorry Coach!)
