Mindy Maheu and Martha Wentworth, per- sonal insurance account executives with GHM Insurance in Waterville, earned the "Safeco Insurance Award of Excellence." Preti Flaherty, a law firm in Portland, said six of its Maine-based attorneys were selected for recognition as "2022 New England Super Lawyers" and six others were named "2022 New England Rising Stars." Husson University's College of Business announced that it was granted a reaffirmation of specialized busi- ness accreditation for several of its business-related degree programs by the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education. Caleb Johnson Studio in Portland received a "Design Excellence" award for the residential project, Pieri Pines, while Simons Architects in Portland also received a "Design Excellence" award for the commercial proj- ect, Waynflete Lower School, from the New England Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. e U.S. EPA recognized two individuals and one organiza- tion in Maine at its virtual 2022 Environmental Merit Awards.
