Maine Outdoor Brands, a business alliance working to strengthen the state's outdoor recreation economy, added Takeshi Miyamoto, Martha Bentley, Kevin Haley and Devin McNeill to its board of directors. Miyamoto is founder and president of Salt Pump Climbing Co., Bentley is owner of MMB Collaborative Leadership LLC, Haley is partner at Brann & Isaacson and McNeill is CEO of Flowfold. Elaine Aloes, Solon Selectboard Chair, was recently sworn in as president of the Maine Municipal Association. Portland Ovations added Maile Buker, Luisa Deprez, Ken Grady and Nyamuon Nguany Machar to its board of directors. Buker is fractional chief marketing officer with Chief Outsiders, Deprez is professor emerita of sociology at the University of Southern Maine, Grady is senior vice president and chief informa- tion officer at IDEXX and Machar is a cultural strategist with Disability Rights Maine.
