Haley Ward Inc., an employee-owned engineering, environmental and surveying consulting firm in Bangor, promoted Travis Noyes to COO. Noyes previously led the firm's engineer- ing division. Verrill, a law firm in Portland, announced that Robert Ruesch, partner, was elected to the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Law's Governing Committee for a three-year term. Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine in Auburn introduced Apple Corps, a new volunteer recognition program honoring volunteers for their service. "JoAnn Pike Volunteer Service Award," recognizing 500-plus volunteer hours, winners were Claire Begin, Doug Boyce, Dot Gibbert and Chase Nuttall; named in the "McIntosh" category for donating over 200 hours in one year were Kenneth Holt and Thomas Torrey; and "Courtland" category honorees, donating over 100 hours in one year, were Timothy Diehl, Ned Dubois, Brenda Leighton, William Mungall and Geraldine Tinkham. Ernst & Young LLP named Pete Roberts, Origin BJJ LLC in Farmington as a win- ner of its "Entrepreneur Of e Year New England Award." GHM Agency in Waterville announced that Lee Cabana is now a licensed insurance consultant in Maine and that Chad Roger, a member of the firm's business insurance team, com- pleted the Workers Compensation Professional certification through the American Society of Workers' Compensation Professionals. e American Association for State and Local History recognized the Maine Historical Society in Portland with an "Award of Excellence" for Begin Again: reckoning with intoler- ance in Maine exhibit.
