Bancro's dedicated faculty and staff work to be the first choice for students and families seeking to own their journey to mastery and independence in the greater Worcester region. Bancro is a workshop constantly in motion with an open and inclusive campus that inspires learners to engage with one another in meaningful and impactful ways. With a learning laboratory that motivates curious minds through active, inquiry- based learning and challenging experiences, our school empowers students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to change the world. Bancro School sits on a 34-acre parcel of land on scenic Shore Drive overlooking the beautiful Indian Lake on the northeast edge of Worcester. Our campus features modern facilities, including the Fuller Science Center, the Harrington Performing Arts Center, and two libraries. Nearly half of our beautiful campus is devoted to athletics, including a regulation baseball diamond, basketball courts, and eight tennis courts. Our Field House features state-of the-art turf fields, which are ideal for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and other indoor sports. We continue to strengthen our diverse and supportive community and invest in people to provide a robust education for all students in Pre-K through grade 12. Guided by outstanding teachers, curious learners celebrate the strengths and lived experiences of each individual. We create environments where students can pique their curiosities, ask questions, share ideas, challenge conventions, and solve problems - together. We prepare students to thrive as self-aware, well-versed, confident leaders in a complex world. We are active participants in our school, city, state, country, and world. We take our responsibility as members of these societies seriously and believe that helping others is an important part. Students at every grade level participate in community service throughout the year. It is embedded in who we are. From local food drives and our participation in the Worcester Refugee Assistance Program, to raising funds to help fight the water crisis in Puerto Rico, our students are committed to leaving our community better than we found it and building meaningful, long-lasting relationships in the process. n BANCROFT SCHOOL: We Own Our Learning 110 Shore Drive Worcester, MA 01605 508.853.2640 www.bancroftschool.org Trey Cassidy, Head of School Year Founded: 1900 "We are active participants in our school, city, state, country, and world."
