At Chrysalis Center, we believe that no one should go hungry.
In Hartford's North End, nearly 50% of residents live at or below poverty level. Access to affordable and nutritious
food in this community is limited, forcing thousands of our city's adults and children to go hungry each day.
To combat hunger and reduce food insecurity, Chrysalis Center develops innovative, hands-on programs
that address the immediate need for food and offer long-term solutions that reduce poverty.
