Recognized excellence Maynard contractor JM Coull received a Pyramid Award from the trade group Associated Builders and Contractors for the company's work on the $8.3-million Collings Foundation's American Heritage Museum in Hudson. JMC separately received an Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for the museum from the Massachusetts chapter of ABC, winning in the special projects category. School lunch stimulus Orange coffee company Dean's Beans has donated $57,000 to area schools to help bolster meal programs during the coronavirus pandemic. Founder and CEO Dean Cycon described the initiative as a stimulus for kids, modeled after the various stimulus programs developed to support other sectors of the economy over the course of the coronavirus outbreak. The company said the program was made possible by an uptick in coffee sales triggered by more people staying home during the economic shutdown. Recipients of the stimulus include Springfield Public Schools, Greenfield Public Schools, Athol-Royalston Regional School District, Gil-Montague Regional School District, Orange elementary schools, Ralph C. Mahar Regional School, Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools, Narragansett Regional School District and Gardner Public Schools.
