Kristen Miale President / Good Shepherd Food Bank What she's being honored for: Miale has been able to consistently focus Good Shepherd's mission on expanding and upgrading facili- ties and getting food to the people and places that need it. When she was honored as a Woman to Watch in 2015, Good Shepherd had just completed its expansion in Auburn. Now, she is overseeing expan- sion in the Bangor area to better serve communities in northern and central Maine, as well as Downeast. Jeff Brickman CEO / Central Maine Healthcare What he's being honored for: Two years ago, Central Maine Healthcare and its properties were on precarious ground. Brickman himself was under pressure. But in two years, he's helped the hospi- tal system rebound, beefing up the staffing and reducing physician turnover, while getting the finances back in shape.
