When Egan assumes that chair role, she will become the first woman to lead the board of the directors in the 168-year history of the company, said Hanover spokesman Michael Buckley. Egan has served on the board since 2015 and is expected to step into the chair role following the mandatory retirement of board chair Kevin Condron. Egan was president of retirement plan services for T. Rowe Price Group of Maryland from 2007 until her retirement in 2012. She also held senior positions with Fidelity Investments in Boston. Egan is a director of Unum Corp. of Tennessee and the BlackRock Fixed Income Funds Complex. Sturbridge BBQ to open a Worcester location e owner and operator of Sturbridge BBQ restaurant B.T.'s Smokehouse have selected a site on Park Avenue in Worces- ter as their second location. "It's a very high traffic location. It's centrally located in Worcester between the downtown area and the west side," said Billy Nemeroff, who is currently the operations director at B.T.'s Smokehouse and will be the operator and co-owner of the Worcester location, along with B.T.'s founder Brian Treitman. Nemeroff said there is no firm date yet set for opening the Worcester location, as the former sandwich shop site has been vacant for two years. "We want to get it right, and we are not rushing anything," he said. e location will serve the same barbe- cue B.T.'s Smokehouse is known for, but also serve fried chicken every day, some- thing that the Sturbridge restaurant only does the first Tuesday of every month. e Sturbridge location will serve some dishes not available in Worcester.
