Kanter is marketing and communications specialist at Verrill Dana LLP, a law firm in Portland. Jeff Shaw, president of Clark Insurance, was sworn in as chairman elect of the Maine Insurance Agents Association and will serve as president starting in April 2020. Knox County Homeless Coalition in Rockport said Executive Director Stephanie Primm was elected chair of the Statewide Homeless Council. Primm's two- year appointment was effective May 20. FHC Inc., a Bowdoin-based manufac- turer of products for the neuroscience industry, announced that Andrew Haer was named chairman of the board as of May 15. Haer joined the company in 2014 as director of business devel- opment and most recently served as director of customer collaboration.
