Galaxie Salsa Co. in Buxton said it received three awards at the World Hot Sauce Competition in Louisiana. Red Roof Hot and Pin-Up Pineapple both took second place awards and One Tire Fire took third place in their respective salsa categories. Brian Bernatchez, an independent LPL Financial advisor and managing direc- tor at Golden Pond Wealth Management in Waterville, was named to the "2019 LPL's Chairman's Council," an honor presented to less than 2% of the firm's approximately 16,000 advisors nationwide. Diversified Communications, an international media company in Portland, gave Bob Callahan its "Diversified's Chairperson's 7 Cs Award," as part of its bi-annual awards. Callahan is group vice president of the commercial marine, technology and grocery group.
