Dougherty has 10 years of experience within the financial services industry. Portland Public Schools hired Aaron Townsend as assis- tant superintendent for school manage- ment. Townsend is currently a senior associate with the Great Schools Partnership in Portland and will officially begin his role on July 1. Coastal Enterprises Inc. hired Ruth Feldman as program director of the Women's Business Center at CEI with a focus on rural Maine. Feldman, who will be based in Machias, previously worked as an organiza- tional development professional, leading her consulting firm SEED (Social, Entrepreneurial Expertise & Development). Maine Department of Health and Human Services hired Todd Landry as direc- tor of the Office of Child and Family Services. Landry most recently served as CEO of the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth, Texas, a nonprofit agency providing evidence-based prevention, early intervention, counseling and edu- cation programming. Central Maine Power Co., a subsidiary of AVANGRID Inc., hired Kathleen Newman as direc- tor of govern- ment affairs.
