In 200, Davin left a lucrative career in the pharmaceutical industry to move to Maine and pursue real estate. After four years with a large franchise, she decided it was time to put the personal touch back into real estate. She opened Portside, starting with a small shop in Falmouth. In 2016, she opened an offi ce in Portland. In 2017, she acquired a RE/MAX offi ce in Yarmouth, becoming one of the few, and perhaps only, locally and independently owned real estate companies to acquire a national franchise. Today, Davin is sole owner of one of Maine's top 10 residential real estate companies. Her sales team sold over 100 properties in 2017, ranking them in the top fi ve of Maine residential agents and teams. Portside has the No. 1 market share in the areas they serve. Davin bases her business philosophy on the personal touch. She designed her new Falmouth headquarters to facilitate old-fashioned customer service in face-to-face relationships. In 2017, she founded the Portside Foundation to give back to the community, hosting fundrais- ers that have donated over $0,000 to local nonprofi ts. Her customer service approach can be seen in her relationship to her team as well, as she helps agents not only reach sales goals but achieve work-family balance. She is a four-time Ironman Triathlon fi nisher.
