One of the honorees in my cohort, Elizabeth Hayes, has become a true friend and supporter of me and Maine Law. What's ahead: In the coming year, I am focusing my eff orts on securing much-needed investment in Maine Law, the state's public and only law school. My dream is to have a positive impact on the lives and aspirations of the individuals I lead, and the recogni- tion has given me the opportunity to have a bigger impact. What's ahead: As a leader, I aspire to positively impact the lives of the members and employees we serve at Infi nity FCU. I get par- ticular satisfaction at the opportunity to give a hand up to women who seek to get ahead in their career and are seeking advice, men- torship and support. Advice: Take the time for self-refl ection in order to get to know your talents, aspirations and those things that you're passionate about. Knowing your strengths and passion at work goes a long way in helping to identify which opportunities to go after and those that should be let pass. This was an incredible honor, and the highest in the industry. Additionally, I have been driving our operations to exceed the highest safety and quality standards in Maine, setting the bar for other compa- nies both locally and nationally. Maine has been a strong leader in the cannabis industry for nearly 10 years. is has uniquely positioned me as a leader and advisor to cannabis companies nationwide regarding quality and safety standards as well as consumer and market trends. What's ahead: We are preparing Wellness Connection for the biggest paradigm shift yet — the expansion of the Maine cannabis industry from medical to adult-use in 2019. My mission remains intact — to lead our team through the change in order to create new opportunities for growth. is industry will have a positive impact on the community and the economy and as the market shifts, I am committed to ensuring that we proceed through this transition successfully.
