Jim Gerritsen told the Bangor Daily News the filing was precipitated by crop losses due to wet conditions in 2011 and 2013. Katahdin Bankshares Corp., parent company of Katahdin Trust Co. in Houlton, announced that it has de- clared a cash dividend of $0.1075 per share for the second quarter of 2018, representing a 7.5% increase over last year's second quarter dividend. The dividend will be payable on June 22 to all shareholders of record as of June 15, 2018. In addition, the company declared a cash dividend on its pre- ferred stock Series D of $54.6875 per share for the second quarter of 2018, payable on July 15 to shareholders of record as of July 5, 2018.
