The location was the fourth the Southbridge- based group has opened in Worcester County. President and CEO Angela Bovill was named an Outstanding Woman in Business by the WBJ for 2017. When she came on board to the organization in 2008, she led the effort to shed the former Lutheran Social Services of New England identity after 135 years of operating as a faith-based nonprofit. The Seven Hills Foundation in February began a partnership with the Massachusetts manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) to train individuals with disabilities for careers in technology. Spectrum Health Systems will run a drug abuse program at Cold Springs Correctional Unit at the Virginia Department of Corrections, and begin working with Medicaid patients at its North Adams, Vt. treatment facility.
