Johnson Brunetti 5K raises money for Camp Courant The "Be A Force on the 4th" 5K Run/Walk event on May 4 sponsored by Johnson Brunetti Retirement & Investment Specialists of West Hartford raised $30,000 for Camp Courant. The event drew hundreds of runners, walkers and families. Bankers teach JA in a Day in Waterbury More than 50 Webster Bank employees recently spent a day teaching financial literacy to students at Tinker Elementary School in Waterbury, the largest JA in a Day event of 2018 for the bank. The volunteers worked in pairs with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. OF NOTE Gary Wolff of Woodstock received the 2017 Robert C. Knox Jr. YMCA Distinguished Leadership Award at the YMCA of Greater Hartford's 165th annual meeting. Wolff, a lifelong Hartford YMCA participant, is president of Wolff Wealth Advisors in Manchester. Jackson Laboratory hosts volunteer service days About 130 employees and volunteers affiliated with The Jackson Laboratory completed projects to help families impacted by Alzheimer's disease in Maine, Connecticut and California.
