She will specialize in residential property sales in Connecticut. Baxter just completed training and licensing through National Real Estate Institute, Century 21 University and an in-house training program. Ken Mitchell has joined Webster Bank as senior vice president and director of digital marketing. Mitchell, who has 27 years of sales and marketing experience, will oversee digital marketing strategy and campaign execution for the bank. Prior to Webster, Mitchell worked for Century 21 Department Stores, where he served as director of digital marketing and analytics. Kimberly (Kim) Howland has joined Diameter Health as chief product officer, responsible for the Farmington health tech company's product strategy and roadmap, and Harvard Pan has joined as chief technology officer, responsible for overseeing technical strategy and development. Howland is an experienced healthcare executive with 15 years of experience in senior strategy and product development roles. Prior to Diameter Health, she was vice president of global product development at Omnicell, a provider of medication and supply dispensing automation solutions. Pan is an experienced technology executive with 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles. As vice president of engineering for QPID Health, he managed the development of clinical software that delivered information within clinical or administrative workflows directly to the user. Seth Van Essendelft has been named senior vice president, chief financial officer for Connecticut Children's Medical Center. He has nearly 20 years of financial experience in the healthcare sector and insurance industry, most recently as senior vice president of finance for Lawrence + Memorial Delivery Network, Yale New Haven Health System. Throughout his career, Van Essendelft has led numerous strategic initiatives, headed financial operations and managed care contracting for both hospitals and medical groups. Lauren Burt and Matthew Mendonca have joined Cashman + Katz, a Glastonbury-based integrated communications firm, as senior account executive and digital coordinator, respectively. Burt brings an extensive background in design, marketing, and business, and most recently spent more than a decade at H.H. Brown Shoe Co. Mendonca joins C+K after graduating from UConn with a degree in digital media and design with a concentration in digital media strategies for business. Andrew W. Minikowski has joined the Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel as a staff attorney. Prior to arriving at OCC, Minikowski worked as an attorney for the Connecticut Fund for the Environment Inc., where his practice included land-use litigation and appeals, proceedings before municipal zoning and inland wetlands agencies, and internal legal advice to a 501(c)(3) company. Manuel Lirio has joined Vantis Life Insurance Co. as assistant vice president of consumer direct marketing in its Windsor office. Lirio will work on online branding by leveraging message development, social media marketing, and search engine optimization techniques to expand the company's consumer reach. He was previously part of a team that used these techniques to bring a professional liability startup to profitability in its first year and he also was director of digital marketing at The Hartford. John Jenney, Justin S. Kababik, Jessica Osborne and Donald Smith, all in the Meriden office of BL Cos. Inc., and Thomas Pechillo Jr. in the Hartford office, were among regional owners named as principals in the Meriden-based multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, environmental and land surveying firm.
