Drummond Woodsum Strategic Consulting in Portland hired Mark Gallagher as a government relations and campaign consul- tant. Previously, Gallagher was the state director for U.S. Sen. Edward J. Markey. The Maine Community Foundation in Ellsworth hired Gloria Aponte Clarke as program officer. Clarke previously managed and directed the Maine State Innovation Model to improve health care for Maine people. Mercy Hospital in Portland hired Nicolas Arredondo as a board-certified neurosurgeon at Maine Spine Surgery. Davis was managing partner with DCB Law Group LLC. OceanView at Falmouth, an assisted living and retirement commu- nity in Falmouth, hired Tamera Vogel as assisted living and memory care sales consultant. Vogel was a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual and Prudential. The Maine Center for Entrepreneurs in Portland hired Sue Hanson as program manager for its Food Accelerator Program. Hanson was previ- ously continuous improvement director at AdvancePierre. Otelco, a wireline telecommunica- tions services company in New Gloucester, hired Scott Littlefield as a network engineering manager and Danielle Hopper as a senior voice and data engineer. The Central Maine & Québec Railway in Bangor hired Wesley Logan as general manager operations. Logan was most recently with Goderich-Exeter Railway and the Southern Ontario Railway. Gov. Paul R. LePage hired Michael Beardsley as senior policy advisor in the area of natural resources policy. Beardsley was previously national director of marketing and sales for Santee Risk Managers, which pro- vides insurance products to logging contractors nationwide.
