HEART OF THE COMMONWEALTH: Profiles of Excellence 161 breakthrough clinical trials. Our highly trained physicians and staff provide patient-centered care in modern facilities with the latest technologies as we educate tomorrow's health care leaders and advance science through research at the Medical School. In addition to these specialty services, UMass Memorial is committed to supporting access to our large network of primary care physicians. e Medical Center is joined by four community hospitals: • Clinton Hospital is a 41-bed acute care hospital that is rated among the Commonwealth's leaders in patient satisfaction by surveys conducted through CMS. Community members rely on Clinton Hospital for emergency care, ambulatory services, physician specialty clinics, diagnostic imaging, and other diagnostic testing. It also offers a highly regarded Geriatric Medical Psychiatry Program. • HealthAlliance Hospital is one of health care's Most Wired Hospitals according to Hospitals and Health Network and is the safest hospital in Massachusetts, according to Consumer Reports Magazine.
