Robinson+Cole lawyers and staff volunteer with Junior Achievement Robinson+Cole lawyers and staff members participated in Junior Achievement Day at Parkville Community School in Hartford. A total of 14 volunteers from the firm taught approximately 75 students in kindergarten through second grade a JA-developed curriculum focused on promoting financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. Local business gives holiday gift to Veterans Helping Veterans Cowen Tax Advisory Group of West Hartford hosted a charitable party for Veterans Helping Veterans at the Aqua Turf Club. At the event attended by more than 500 guests, Cowen Tax Advisory Group presented a $4,150 donation to the Veterans group. Johnson Brunetti volunteers serve veterans on Pearl Harbor Day Employees from Johnson Brunetti Retirement and Investment Specialists spent Pearl Harbor Day honoring nearly 250 veterans at their second annual Holiday Veterans Gathering. All veterans in attendance received clothing including sweatshirts, gloves, hats and socks, and gift cards. OF NOTE Konover Residential Corp. received multiple awards at the recent Connecticut Apartment Association Nutmeg Awards and holiday dinner. Konover received honors in three categories: Community of the Year for communities between one to 10 years old; Best Overall Marketing Property; and Regional Manager of the Year. Carolyn Galiette, president and chief investment officer of Ironwood Capital in Avon, has been named to the 2018 list of Mergers & Acquisitions' Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A. Galiette manages day-to-day execution of the firm's investment strategy, underwriting process and portfolio management, as well as investor reporting and engagement.
