Upward Hartford collects clothing
for 'Bundle Your Baby'
As part of its first annual holiday celebration "The More, The Merrier,"
Upward Hartford collected hundreds of donations for the Women
Ambulatory Health Services Clinic at Hartford Hospital for mothers who do
not have the proper clothing for their infants. Pictured (from left) are: Shana

donates gifts to CT children
Smith Brothers Insurance in Glastonbury
sponsored 40 children in need, and raised more
than $7,500 for the 2017 Holiday Bear Project
through the Connecticut Education Foundation.
As a result of those efforts, hundreds of gifts
were purchased and wrapped for students
throughout the state.
Panera Bread collects and
delivers toys to Place of Grace
Sixteen Panera Bread locations recently
collected toys for more than 25 local families
and 90 children served by the Place of Grace
food pantry at the Grace Episcopal Church
based in Hartford. The toys were collected
and delivered by Panera Bread employees
and other volunteers.
OF NOTE
Guilaine Menefee, CEO of Your Fitness Network, received a
prestigious award through the Minority Inclusion Project at the
first MIP Honors Fundraiser. The award was given to Menefee
for being a champion for diversity, equity, inclusion, philanthropy,
innovation and community leadership.
