500 attend 'Girl Within' luncheon

at The Village's 17th annual Girl Within
Luncheon on Dec. 1 at the Connecticut

support programs for at-risk girls and young

COCC employees prepare care packages
for disabled veterans
COCC employees in Southington recently participated in a team-
building and community-service program called Operation Military
Care. Together, team members prepared 32 care packages with toiletry
supplies, socks, hats, scarves and snacks, which were donated to the
Disabled American Veterans Charity.

Retirement & Investment Specialists in Wethersfield, recently
announced the company's sponsorship of Christmas Wish CT, founded
by Mike Stacey of the "Allan, Mike & Mary" Lite 100.5 WRCH Morning
Show. All proceeds donated to Christmas Wish CT go directly to local
children and families.
